Jeeni Criscenzo considers herself an activist poet. Her work has appeared in many anthologies. She was a San Diego Free Press columnist for several years. Her novel, Place of Mirrors, was published in 1996. She was a 2006 CA Congressional candidate and was awarded KPBS 2016 Local Hero for Women’s History Month.

Since retiring to New Hampshire in 2020, she sews sustainable goods that she sells on byJeeni.com, writes poetry that she enjoys performing at local open mics, and spends the majority of her time pushing the limits of fiber art.

She currently lives in Concord, NH with her husband, Juan and cranky old cinnamon cat. She has two grown children and a grandson she adores.
